The LiveWell Method has a proven track record.

LiveWell is the official QAPI program for the State of Oregon’s DHS. It earned that distinction through extensive piloting and effective deployment throughout Oregon. Download and read our comprehensive reports on the LiveWell Method: Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) Long-Term Care Project (June 2018), and Building a Culture of Improvement: How CareHomes Wellbeing Created the Foundation for Change in 10 Long Term Care Facilities in Oregon (August 2015) that preceded it. Both studies validate the efficacy of the LiveWell Method.

To capture more unseen cost factors, the LiveWell team also created a social return on investment map spreadsheet in 2015 as part of CareHomes Wellbeing. Of course, any fall, medication error, or other safety problem harms the wellbeing and thus the dignity of the people involved – two costs that aren’t captured with proxies and are likely incalculable.
